WOW!

I have written about Maggie Grey in this blog a number of times. Her artistic output is legend, and every book she has published is replete with ideas, suggestions, techniques and illustrations to blow your eye sockets (and your mind).

So imagine my elation when she agreed to publish one of my articles in Workshop On the Web (WOW).

You can read Paper Cuts with Carol Wiebe in the September, 2010 issue.

But there’s more. Maggie is so generous that she told me to be sure and add links to additional information about me, or anything I wanted to sell. For the first time, I have an ebook to offer.

The 77 page e-book, Turn a Series of Small Quilts into an Art Book, goes further and deeper into the process outlined in the WOW article. I describe how I used my Cracked Paper Quilt method to create the pages, and then join them together with crochet. Here are the Front cover, Dedication, Table of contents 1 and 2, and the Back cover.

This has been a true labor of love. I created the entire book ~ the writing, the diagrams, the photos ~ myself. And, of course, there is a book within the book, which I did the same thing for.

I have learned so much, including the fact that I want to repeat this process and create more books. I hope to keep building on what I have learned, and to get better and better. But I am very proud of this first born! And you can see her . . . . .  77 pages for $10 CAD.

* NOTE: It appears you have to be persistent to make the Paypal buttons work. I do apologize, but enough orders have come through that I know it will get you there eventually. Try here or here, and if they both don’t work, email me and I’ll send it another way!)

When you order this eBook, it will be delivered by YouSendIt to your email, no more than 48 hours after you order, unless I am waiting for a cheque, or e-cheque, to go through.

My deepest thanks for supporting my creative path.

  1. Hi, I found you through Sue Bleiweiss, and your e-book looks terrific! I’ve ordered a copy, and had no problem with PayPal, so I’m looking forward to receiving it. Thanks!

I just sent a payment through PayPal and it went right through (thought you’d like to know that it does work sometimes!) I’m not sure it included my email address however, so I wanted to give you that so you could email me my ebook. I’m so looking forward to getting it. I heard about it from Kelli Perkins.

I would like to order your e-mail book.
Pay Pal does not want to open so perhaps I can purchase the book using Visa
    Regards,
    June (Australia)

Hi June! I am so pleased you are interested in my book.

Sometimes strange things happen on the Internet. I also received a message about not being able to encrypt the certificate id. I had to try about 6 times before it finally worked!

Unfortunately, I cannot take Visa–I am not set up for it. That would mean you’d have to send a cheque, which would take forever from Australia.

I will look into this and see if there’s any way I can expedite it.

June, my email back to you bounced several times. Can I reach you another way?
